TAU Potpourri and Working with Open Components, Interfaces, and Environments - Malony

by Jennifer Harris last modified 2010-07-21 09:38

Several efforts currently underway in the TAU project are attempting to extend the TAU performance system with new capabilities that leverage open components, interfaces, and environments. The talk will discuss recent work towards the development of performance monitoring support and online performance reduction using MRNet and MPI. We will also describe our approach from I/O and memory instrumentation that utilizes a tool for wrapping header files. An update on the use of binary instrumenation, TAUcuda activities, and Eclipse integration will be given if time allows.
