"The talk will provide an overview and present initial results of a new effort, jointly funded by OASCR and the NNSA, to modularize Open|SpeedShop into a generalized Component Based Tool Framework (CBTF). The goal of the CBTF project is to create a set of scalable open source performance tool components that allows the construction of performance tools from high-quality interchangeable tool building blocks. We will present the current status CBTF and share the key interfaces for discussion and would welcome any feedback.
